Bull Durham 1988
Minor league baseball team players are followed by groupies? Who Knew? Susan Sarandon plays a fan “attached” to one different team player each year. This year, it's a triangle. Will it be “nuke” the buff, but wild, pitcher, or “Crash”, a charming over-the-hill catcher recruited to coach?

A League of their Own 1992
Among all the advances in freedoms achieved by American women in the 20th century, the right to form a professional women's baseball league may not dominate, but it is celebrated here as a heart-felt and long overdue blow for women's rights. The women are game, despite adversity from an ample cast of nasty unpleasant males. A nostalgic team reunion makes everyone feel good.
