  The setting is a remote beach on Pigeon Lake in September 1953. Lonely, shell-shocked veteran, Jack Forrester lives in Cabin No. 1 of a rustic cabin court. An unexpected late-season guest, Emma Currie rents Cabin No. 3 and turns Jack’s solitude upside down. Emma’s appearance affronts reserved Jack, who is bewildered by Emma’s racy language and city-girl complaints. Polar opposites, chaos erupts as their opposing worlds collide. Both  tackle their demons on their own terms, sometimes funny, sometimes sarcastic, sometimes bittersweet.

The Theatre is at Kingston Road and Markham.  Tickets are in short supply for this performance, so please order your tickets as soon as possible on line at:

We will meet in the foyer before the show and you are invited to tea in the Hunt Club afterwards

As per EYPC policy, anyone participating in an EYPC in-person event must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 and have a signed Covid-19 waiver on file. If the event is in a public venue such as a restaurant, proof of vaccination and valid identification will be checked by their staff. If the event is in a home proof of vaccination will be presented to the host or the activity Convenor, if present. Once the Convenor confirms that a member has presented proof, he/she does not need to repeat this at subsequent meetings of this group.
